Hi Nat

I met you in the 60's. I loved Meridian West at Runway 5. You dated my guardian Judith Buckley and came over to the house. You had the brightest smile I'd ever seen. You were my favorite of Judith's friends. I was thrilled to see you in Bullitt. You made a lifelong impression on a teenaged girl.

I never forgot you or your music. It is a joy to find you.

Warmest Regards,

Cynthia

Hey this is a cool site.
I found you from my obsession with the movie bullit. The jazz scene at the coffee house and the bass and flute were great reminded me of Bobbie humphrey.

FINALLY, after decades, I found the band from the best music scene in Bullit...and you! Great sound!..even those few moments reminds me of Leroy Vinegar, whom I got to hear a LOT in his later years, I sure miss dropping in to hear him at Pan's in Portland. Have not found your discography yet, but will search for it. I'm going to enjoy hearing the near lifetime of music you have done. I'm so happy to have finally made this connection! Good health and best wishes to you!

Hello Nat: I heard you on Desert Island this morning. I am a drummer/singer. I started out in NY playing with some great players in the 50s, and then went to Juilliard for 2 years. I stopped playing for many years. I started playing again about 12 years ago playing classical. I'm studying with Akira Tana and Nate Pruitt. For the past five years I've had a jazz group called pentimento jazz. We have two steady gigs, one on Sundays in Palo Alto. It only pays $65 apiece but it's a veI'mry nice restaurant and it includes dinner and bar. I'm playing with pianist Sue Crossman from
San Francisco. I was so impressed with your presentation that I wonder if you would consider playing with us? I know the bread is light, and I, of course, will
understand if you feel it's too far, or
not of interest. Sincerely, Mike
